Provides the knowledge and competence needed to manage emergency first aid situations specifically in forestry and agricultural environments.
Acts as an add‑on qualification to an existing First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate.
Follows the Forestry Commission First Aid Policy (2015) recommendations.
This qualification fills the gap between general workplace first aid and the specialised challenges of forestry work—where injuries may be more severe, help may be far away, and environmental hazards are significant.
